Like its hotter cousin the 50 Watt Weller/Ungar, this iron heats up fast. 1000` F Heater with integrated tip. This iron is better if you do mostly foil work and lead came.
It needs the Weller/Ungar Handle #7760 to complete the iron. This is the heater tip only

Cooper Tools, the manufacture of Weller Irons, has recently purchased Ungar and as such the packaging will say Weller and Cooper Tools. This is still the Ungar Iron.
