Incorporated temperature control holds iron to 700` range. Comes with 3/8" iron clad tip. The Weller 100 has a patented temperature control built into the tip of the iron. The iron comes with a controlled 3/8", 700 degree tip, but additional size and temperature tips are available below. Regardless of this feature, using a rheostat with this or any iron is recommended. It's easier to adjust the temperature with a rheostat when needed than to change the tip. 6 foot cord, 120 volts.
For general stained glass purposes, the 700 degree tip is fine. The 800 degree tip is great for needs with a LOT of heat (hard metals -- zinc, brass, etc, and for restoration work).
